BACKGROUND

African Pride Wines was founded in 2002 with the vision of creating a range of wines that combine great value and character while staying true to South African style and terroir. We consider our colleagues and partners as family and friends, and we've worked together for 16 years. During this time, we have expanded our global footprint, with our wines available in over 30 countries, spanning Asia, the Gulf, Europe, and the Americas. This widespread presence reflects the broad appeal of our wines and our unwavering commitment to quality and service delivery.

We produce just over 100,000 cases per annum, sourcing grapes and wines from contracted producers in Stellenbosch, Worcester, Wellington, and Paarl. Our wines are vinified, blended, and bottled under the personal supervision of our winemaker, shareholder, and walking encyclopedia, Mike Graham.

Mike boasts an impressive career of 40 harvests in South Africa and 7 harvests in France. He initiated his journey at Bergkelder (Distell) before becoming the Cellarmaster at Boschendal and later taking on the role of Operations Manager at Stellenbosch Vineyards. Mike was also one of the pioneers in South Africa's 'flying winemakers' group, having worked at renowned wineries like Louis Roederer, Joseph Drouhin, and five vintages in Southern France for Direct Wines UK. He has judged at both national and international competitions and is a member of the tasting panel for the Wine & Spirits board of South Africa.

Our production adheres to strict quality standards with accreditation in HACCP, BRC, IFS, and ISO. We collaborate with JF Hillebrand as our logistics partner. Our wines are produced sustainably and bear the 'Integrity and Sustainability seal.'

In addition to our own brands, we also produce private label wines and manage international marketing and distribution for several boutique wineries in select markets
